Zhang Dejun (1946) is from Nantong, Jiangsu Province. He graduated from the Art Department of the Nanjing Art Academy in 1968. From 1970 on, he worked in mass art education. Currently, he is with the Art Photography Department of the Jiangsu Changzhou Municipal Mass Art Institute.

Zhang, who excels in New Year prints, received numerous awards for his works.
