Zhong Zaiben (1932) is a native of Bishan, Sichuan Province. In 1956, he graduated from the Southwest Academy of Fine Arts. He stayed in the school as a teacher in attached middle school, and later transferred to the college's arts and crafts department to teach. Zhong has created sketches, oil paintings, watercolors, Chinese landscape paintings, flowers, etc.

He has served as a lecturer in the Department of Arts and Crafts of Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts, professor of Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts, and is a famous arts and crafts artist.
