Zou Daqing (邹达清)

Zou Daqing (1939) is from Xinjian, Jiangxi Province. He graduated from the Blockprint Department of the Guangzhou Art Academy in 1966. He joined the Jiangxi Provincial Mass Art Center in 1970; in 1978, he enrolled in the Blockprint Research Students Class of the Central Art Academy. He joined the teaching staff of the Blockprint Department of the Guangzhou Art Academy in 1981. In 1996, he was awarded the "Lu Xun Printmaking Award" by the China Printmakers Association. From 2000 to 2001, he went to Paris, France, for further studies.

Some of Zou's blockprints have been included in the collections of the China Art Gallery and the Lu Xun Memorial Hall in Shanghai.
