Zou Liangcai (1944) hails from Shanghang, Fujian Province. He graduated from the Art Department of Jiangxi Normal University in 1966, and went to work in the Jinggangshan Museum. He became attached to the Jiangxi Industrial Arts Academy.

Zou is specialized in figurative and landscape paintings.
