Bi Jianxun (1961) was born in Jianping, Liaoning Province. In 1985, he graduated from the Chinese Painting Department of the Lu Xun Art Academy in Shenyang. Subsequently, he studied at the Central Art Academy. He is now a professor at the Central Art Academy.

Bi is known for his illustrations.
