He Guohua (1941) is from Nanhai, Guangdong Province. He joined the People's Liberation Army in 1959 and was active in various artistic endeavors while in the army. After his demobilization in 1980, he engaged in artistic work in the Guangzhou Cultural Park.

He is proficient in block prints. His works have been included in the collections of the China Art Gallery and the Museum of the Chinese People's Revolutionary Army.
