Li Huanmin (李焕民)

lihuanmingLi Huanmin (1930-2016) was from Beijing. After his graduation from the National Beiping Art School in 1947, he was attached to a number of cultural work teams in North China, Tianjin and Beijing. Upon his graduation from the Art Cadre Class of the Central Art Academy in 1951, he was sent to work in Sichuan. He was appointed art designer in Chongqing for the Xinhua Daily and has been involved with art editorial work with several newspapers there.

Li made blockprints, some of which have been included in the collection of the China Art Gallery. He also received prestigious awards for his work. He collaborated with Ms. Huang Dezhen.
