Qian Zhilin (1942) is from Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. In 1965, he graduated from the Art Department of the Nanjing Art Academy. He joined the People's Liberation Army in 1970. He transferred to the Nanjing Provincial Museum in 1982.

Qian, who specializes in oil painting, cooperated with Gao Quan.
