Shi Shaochen (1939-2003, Zhejiang Province) graduated from the Oil Painting Department of the Zhejiang Art Academy in 1964, but was sent to work as a stage designer for the Jiangxi Provincial Yichun Opera Troupe. He transferred to the Jiangxi Provincial Museum in 1968 to work in the artistic design group. In 1984, he took up a teaching post in the middle school attached to the Zhejiang Art Academy, where he served a a head and an associate professor.
