Song Enhou (1936) is from Yingkou, Liaoning Province. Originally a welder by trade, he was transfered from Harbin to the Wuhan Steel Company in 1956; after this, he worked in the steel trade for more than thirty years. By the late 1950s, the self-taught Song started to create blockprints.
