Wang Yiding (1949) is from Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. He graduated from the high school attached to the Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts in 1969. In 1990, he entered the advanced training class of the Oil Painting Department of the Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts. Now he is the academic leader, director and lecturer of the Department of Art and Design, Zhejiang Agricultural Commerce Vocational College.

Wang is known for his New Year paintings, oil paintings and gouache paintings, some of which were awarded prizes and were collected by the National Art Museum of China.
