Zhang Jiemin (1928) was a native of Yichuan, Henan Province. He is also known under his pseudonym Jiaming (稼明). Zhang graduated from the National Art College with a bachelor's degree in Chinese painting in 1949. He is a senior painter and a retired cadre of the Hangzhou Garment Industry Corporation. He is a member of the China Collectors Association: he started to collect in 1941, mainly Chinese calligraphy and painting. His collection now encompasses hundreds of items of ancient and modern calligraphy and painting, three-dimensional photos, calendar pictures and special photography.
