Zhang Ruji (张汝济)

Zhang Ruji (1931) is born in Beijing. He started his art studies at the National Beiping Art School in 1948 and graduated from the Drawing Department of the Central Art Academy in 1952. That same year he started to work in the People's Fine Arts Publishing House where he remained active the rest of his working life.

Zhang is known for his landscapes and propaganda poster designs, samples of both of which have been included in the collection of the China Art Gallery.
