Zhao Min (赵敏)

Zhao Min (1930-2002) was from Haicheng, Liaoning Province. He took art classes at the Jinbaishan Art School in Wafangdian, Liaoning Province, from 1947-1949. In the period 1950-1966, Zhao was art editor for the Huabei Illustrated (华北画报), the Liaoning Illustrated (辽宁画报) and worked for the Liaoning Fine Arts Publishing House. He transferred to become main editor of the Liaoning Youth (辽宁青年) magazine in 1970, and in 1978, he returned to the Liaoning Fine Arts Publishing House.

Zhao created New Year pictures, block prints and serial cartoons. Some of his works have been included in the collection of the China Art Museum.
