Zheng Mukang (郑幕康)

Zheng Mukang (1901-1982) was from Chaoyang, Guangdong Province. He served as an apprentice with various painters before he became a teacher in the Chinese Painting Department of the Shanghai Art School. He has been attached to the Shanghai Institute of Chinese Painting.

Zheng excelled in 工笔 gongbi ('meticulous')-style renditions of Chinese beauties. He cooperated with Tang Yifang.
