Wu Jue (1920) was from Shaoyang, Hunan Province. He graduated from the Guilin Chuyang Academy of Fine Arts, and served as the art editor of the Hunan Daily (湖南日报). He also worked as an art cadre of the Changde Mass Art Museum.
