Zhou Daowu (no dates known), also known as Zhou Qunlu (周群路), graduated from the Shanghai Suzhou School of Fine Arts in Shanghai and the Oil Painting Department of Hubei University of Arts. He is good at oil painting and gouache, advocating realism, and his works have a traditional Western-European academic style, and a blend of traditional Chinese pen and ink. He used to be a designer at the Shanghai People's Fine Arts Publishing House and an officer of the Shanghai Artists Association's Creative Research Institute.
