A five-poster series from 1952, entitled "The health facilities of New China" (新中国的卫生事业). According to the text on the opening page:

"Under the correct leadership of Chairman Mao and the Central People's Government, the people's health undertakings in New China have made remarkable achievements. According to the general principles of 'Prevention First'; 'For Workers, Peasants and Soldiers'; and 'Unifying Chinese and Western Medicine', health grassroots organizations have flourished, the epidemic of several major communicable diseases has been stopped, and a large number of health cadres have been trained. Most of the medicines and medical equipment are self-sufficient; it basically changed the situation in old China where epidemics were prevalent and the vast number of people had no medical care, and initially improved the health of the people."
