A worker, a peasant, a soldier and representatives of various National Minorities, some holding a white book titled 马克思, 恩格斯, 列宁 论无产阶级专政 (Marx, Engels, Lenin On the Dictatorship of the Proletariat). The title is given in six languages: Chinese, Manchu, Tibetan, Uyghur, Korean and Kazakh.

This poster was designed by amateur worker-artists from Shanghai, assisted by factory workers Li Min and Hu Yiren, and by professional designer You Longgu (who may have done much work on the final version). This edition was for international distribution, and does not credit the designers. These were taken from the simultaneously published domestic edition.
