Gao Eryi (1946) is from Jiangsu. In 1969, he graduated from Industrial Arts department of the Zhejiang Art Academy. He worked as an art teacher in the Hangzhou Children's Palace.

Gao's specialties are water colors and oil painting. The poster 'New hand' is a collaborative work with Liang Pingbo, and others. The famous poster 'Tempering red hearts in stormy waves' is a collaborative work with Zong Wenlong, Dong Xiaoming and Liang Pingbo.
