Zong Wenlong (1942) is from Shanghai. He graduated from the Zhejiang Art Academy in 1970. In 1983, he joined the Zhejiang People's Fine Arts Publishing House, which he now heads.

The famous poster 'Tempering red hearts in stormy waves' is a collaborative work of Zong Wenlong, with Liang Pingbo, Gao Eryi and Dong Xiaoming.
