Wang Baishun (1939) is from Yingkou, Liaoning Province. He graduated in 1964 from the Oil Painting Department of the Lu Xun Art Academy and went to work in the Liaoning Fine Arts Publishing House (辽宁美术出版社, Liaoning meishu chubanshe). He now heads the arts editorial office of the same publisher. Wang is specialized in New Year pictures, oil paintings and propaganda art.

Wang cooperated with Fei Changfu, Liu Renjie, Chao Deren, Song Huimin and Yu Zhenli.
