Traditional red Chinese doors open to a vista of skyscrapers, with flags of foreign countries above. A literal representation of China’s ‘Open Door Policy’ to promote the Special Economic Zones, such as Shenzhen and Xiamen. These Zones were meant to attract foreign investment with a reduction of bureacracy and taxes.
