Groups of visitors admire the 画舫 - painted pleasure boat - in the South Lake, Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province, where the last sessions of the founding congress of the Chinese Communist Party were held in July 1921. This boat is a replica, and became a much-visited place of pilgrimage. The title is a line from a poem by Dong Biwu, who attended the 1921 meeting, when he revisited the site 1964.
