This poster shows the "March 8" Pig Farm (“三八”养猪场) in Dafu Township, Zhengdong Village, Shaanxi Province. It was run by women, and part of the Xingping County Women's Federation's campaign to improve agricultural production and to encourage women to become experts at cattle breeding. The farm workers shown are all female, only the truck driver is male.
