Meng Yangyu has created many works on the subject of Liu Hulan. His "Study a brave spirit, follow a brave example" was selected for the National Art Exhibition to commemorate the 35th anniversary of the publication of Mao Zedong's "Talks at the Yan'an Forum of Literature and Art".
