The Liao-Shen or Liaoning-Shenyang Campaign (辽沈战役) was an important Communist offensive in the Civil War, late 1948. One of the factions in 1967 in Shenyang used the name "Second Liao-Shen Campaign" for their own campaign. Rivaling rebel factions accused them of being counterrevolutionaries. Main target of this poster is Song Renqiong (宋任穷), veteran of the Second Sino-Japanese War, PLA General and high Party official.
The poster is signed by five organizations: Shenyang Agricultural College Mao Zedong Thought Red Guard Revolutionary Rebel Group (沈阳农学院毛泽東思想红卫兵革命造反团), Smelting and Repair Factory Mao Zedong Thought Revolutionary Rebel Group (冶修厂毛泽东思想革命造反团), Shenyang Music Academy Jinggangshan Corps (沈阳音乐学院井冈山), Dongbei Engineering College "Red Brigade" (东北工学院《红旅》), Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts "Dawn Is Breaking" Fighting Group (鲁迅美术学院《通曙光》战团).
