A political study group in the Working People's Cultural Palace.

The Imperial Ancestral Temple, a complex of buildings just outside the Forbidden City, became a public park, 'Peace Park', in 1924. In 1950 it was renamed the Working People's Cultural Palace and placed under the responsibility of the Beijing Federation of Trade Unions.
