The second poster of a series of 11, published in January 1954. Although the series sets out elements of the General Line, it is more reflecting policies of the First Five-Year Plan. The slogans underneath the individual posters make up consecutive sentences.

The slogan on the banner reads "Struggle for the realization of the basic tasks of the First Five-Year Plan" (为实现第一个五年计划的基本任务而奋斗). In the upper right hand corner, the text reads "First Five-Year Plan 1953-1957" (第一个五年计划1953-1957).
