The second poster of a series of 11, published in January 1954. Although the series sets out elements of the General Line, it is more reflecting policies of the First Five Year Plan. The slogans underneath the individual posters make up consecutive sentences.

The slogan on the banner reads "Struggle for the realization of the basic tasks of the First Five Year Plan" (为实现第一个五年计划的基本任务而奋斗). In the upper right hand corner, the text reads "First Five Year Plan 1953-1957" (第一个五年计划1953-1957).
