A set of safety production legal education wall charts was compiled and printed in 1987 to cooperate with the implementation of the instructions of the Party Central Committee, the National People's Congress Standing Committee and the State Council to overcome bureaucracy and strengthen safety production.

Titled "Dealing with inspections will bring consequences" (应付检查自食恶果), we are told how in 1987, a safety inspection team came to inspect a cement mixing machine. The cover had been taken off for inspection. One of the team members wanted to take a closer look while the machine was working, and ended up in the machine, mauled to death.
