The Mao quote reads "The patriotic and just struggle of the South Vietnamese people against the U.S.-Ngô Đình Diệm [Wu Tingyan, 吴庭艳] clique has won numerous victories, both politically and militarily. We Chinese people resolutely support the just struggle of the people in Southern Vietnam."
