It shows Sun Yat-sen calling the first meeting of the Guomindang (GMD)-CCP United Front (1924); the founding of the Whampoa Military Academy (1924); the May Thirtieth Movement (1925); Peng Pai (澎湃), an early organizer of the peasantry; and the Canton-Hong Kong Strike (省港大罢工) (1925), led, amongst others, by Su Zhaozheng (苏兆征).
