It shows the formation of People's Communes (1958); discussions about the Great Leap Forward between Mao Zedong, Liu Shaoqi, Zhou Enlai, Chen Yun and Deng Xiaoping; bumper harvests; backyard furnaces; the session of the NPC calling for the modernization of agriculture, industry, national defense, and science and technology (Winter 1963-1964); and the first Learn from Lei Feng campaign (1963).
