The poster further explains the structure of the Criminal Procedure Law of the PRC (中华人民共和国刑事诉讼法), illustrating "Coercive measures in criminal proceedings" (刑事诉讼中的强制措施), which include detention and summons; bail awaiting trial; house arrest; detention; and arrest; "Bringing to trial" (审判); and "Stages of criminal prosecution" (刑事诉讼的几个阶段), including placing a case on file for investigation and prosecution; investigation; and instituting proceedings.
